Dileab Chlann (Gaelic) – Clan Condiment (English)
We are a bunch of friends who like to do our own thing. And what better way than to officially claim our tartan and motto… combining our love of condiments, all things Celtic, and ironic humor… into Clan Condiment!
Each of our condiments is completely unique—different personalities, different brands, different styles. Think of us like the condiment aisle version of humanity: vibrant, diverse, and unapologetically individual. Each with their own flavor, and all belonging at the table.
Sàmhchair Dìomhair (Gaelic) – Secret Sauce (English)
Our secret sauce: a little bit of mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, and all the flavors of life! Each one of us adds a bit of spice to make a saucy team of characters!
A few years ago, our fearless leaders were enjoying a lite repast after a glorious day at the Highland Games. Things got festive (and messy), t-shirts had drops of condiment, and an idea was born… instead of trying to fit in (and be clean), we were a bunch of friends who like to do our own thing (shirts with food stains) and what better way than to officially claim our tartan and motto… combining our love of condiments, all things Celtic, and ironic humor… into Clan Condiment!
Our clan is like any other, we are folks who seek order through social harmony and our values are rooted in traditions of kinship and family. We operate as guardians of the welfare of our people who are held together with a sense of compassion, pride, and brotherhood. As in the olden days, we are a self forming collection of ‘broken men’ gathered to form our own spirit of community — organized not by heritage but as like minded individuals, therefore becoming ‘native men’ in our unity. Our tenets are based on the firm belief that the rights of women, children, and in fact all people are protected and equal. And anyone that is unfaithful, cruel, or uncaring is held in very low regard.
